BBCamMaster does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and makes no network requests to any third party.
What the extension accesses
- paramountplus.com pages only. BBCamMaster runs solely on paramountplus.com, as declared in its manifest. It does not run on any other website.
- The page’s video player. To provide its features — cam switching, focus cam, audio isolation, theater mode, quality control, and keyboard shortcuts — the extension reads and modifies the content of the Paramount+ live feed pages and interacts with the page’s existing video player. This happens entirely within your browser.
Data stored on your device
BBCamMaster saves two small, non-personal values in your browser’s local storage so the extension works smoothly:
- The URLs of the Big Brother camera channels it discovers on the page.
- Your preferred focus-cam window size and position.
This information never leaves your device and is not associated with you. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension or clearing site data for paramountplus.com.
Data the extension does not collect
BBCamMaster does not collect or transmit: personally identifiable information, authentication credentials, financial information, health information, location, browsing history, communications, or usage and behavioral analytics.
Third parties
BBCamMaster does not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties, because it does not collect any user data.
Paramount+ / CBS
BBCamMaster is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Paramount, CBS, Viacom, or the Big Brother production. It requires your own active Paramount+ subscription and does not access, decrypt, record, or redistribute video streams.
